My husband has been wanting a home gym for quite some time. My objection was the cost and "where will we put this huge monstrosity." We still felt it went quickly and are now thrilled to be using the equipment. If you are into heavy weight lifting, I agree with others that you may need to upgrade. If you are needing to tone your body and do not need 300 pounds of weight, this is perfect for you. We also purchased separately the lat bar. It is a good plus.
